FLXX member Benny Davis donated the space necessary to place our tutorial on how to repack the wheel bearings of the Xterra\Frontier\Pathfinder with auto locking hubs. It is located at: http://homepage.mac.com/bennylen/readme.htm
Hopefully you will find this useful! Happy four wheeling!

Thanks Warmonger.

Repacking the bearings is part of our spring prep for the trucks.

BTW if you need space for hosting I have a good amount on Xterra4x4.com

It includes everything. The 150 MB digital video and the website as it is posted with stills.

Thumbs up Successful Repack

I completed the repack yesterday afternoon. The directions from the site came in handy.

I cleaned and inspected the bearings/spindle and found no signs of wear.

I would only add to those directions, that when installing the new grease seal you should tap it into place using a wooden dowel or other soft material to avoid damage to the seal.

Unfortunately, the website doesn't show what the video does. If you tap around the seal with a light hammer, it will go in with no damage. This is shown in the video but can't be shown on the website.
