Question Bose CD Radio

Is there any difference between 99 and older model Intrigue radios. I'm thinking about changing my 99 BOSE radio for a 00 model.

Does anybody know?

Re: Bose CD Radio

The '99 and '00 should be the same. In '02 the connector in the back of the radio changed. If you want to be absolutely sure e-mail me the part numbers for the '99 BOSE Radio and the '00 BOSE Radio you are installing. I'm getting ready to install a BOSE Amp from a Aurora in my '99 Intrigue and replace the Nav unit I have installed with a touch-screen. Why are you changing radios?

Indeed, why are you changing radios? You should be saving your $$ for the next disaster with that GM junk bucket!!

Bose in a GM......that's funny!!

I had the car new since 99, so far I sent $115 on the throttle position sensor which I replaced myself

I changed the 2 rubber pegs located under the arm rest...costed $3 per pack of 40

Added the platium injection canister for $175. Now I get 470km per tank in the city and 750km on the highway. Also I like to mention I get 0 co2 and 0 N on my emissions test. The garage never saw that before so they had to test the testing machine.

Changed the light bulb under the console trim..cost $0 since my dad had 2

and that is it

The Radio in 2000 and up are more modern looking that is all.

So far it's the best car I bought.

Thank you very much Paul

Sorry.....guess you think it's no big deal to replace a tps for $117.....how many kms? Everyone I talk to at work with a Japanese car has never replaced anything but oil........except for the guy with a Camry with 170,000 miles - he had the timing belt replaced a little while ago.

I had a Eagle Talon and went through 4 manual transmissions and transfer cases. Each time I saw the bill $5500

Good thing it was under warranty

I sold the car very shorly after once I notice engine problems

My Intrigue has just under 100000km but I don't drive that much

My talon had 63000 km

Who cares where it's from as long as it works

Well, I agree now, even though I come from a GM family and had to deal with all the anti-Japan stuff......

Which is why I want a Japanese car now. They work. And I won't have to spend all my free time working on it!!

I don't know how you drove your Talon......of course, it was a Japanese car but had a Chrysler name on it. Guess that explains it.
