grand prix ignition help

I have a 1997 grand prix gt and the key wont come out of the ignition...and the shifter doesnt come out of park unless i hit the shift release.If you know what the problem is can you post here or email me at [email protected] thanks

I've got the same problem with my car. There is a button under the steering column to release the key. Haven't figured out the other problem yet.
