Any other ideas what it might be from, i know i shouldn't buff in a circler motion, if water were to mix w/ the wax would that cause that effect at all or no?
You're Welcome!

Again..IMHO water mixing with the Quick Wax will probably do nothing more than make it a pain to wipe off...so the extra action of rubbing harder longer could be a factor in the swirls you have!

But the act alone of water mixing with the quickwax will not create swirls!

Nice to hear you had a new M/F cloth! Did you do the blank CD test??

Rub any of your clothes/towels on a blank cd (recordable side) and if it scratches the CD..it's going to scratch you paint!

The other things I can think of are:

The tag on the cloth rubbing the paint?

Did you have course dust on the car? Was the car dusty or dirty..makes a differance!

Did you pick up some debris in the cloth?

Did you drop the cloth? Never use a dropped cloth!

I know this is all common sense, but there are many who don't think of this! Maybe the swirls came from the wash??? What do you use to wash and how?

Keep me posted!

Thanks
