hey!! whats up?
it's been awhile since i posted here, i draw more and spend alot less time with the computer.. but now its winter and its time to spend a little computertime too!

this the latest of my drawings, a volvo 940 turbo with volvo 960 fenders and headlights + grille, and the bumper, yeah,the whole front end. 19" wheels.
it's a request from the owner and it's now sold.


PS. the photo sucks, so many reflections that should'nt be there!

Looks cool man. You should try your hand at some other cars, rather than sticking to volvos.

i draw a lot of of other cars=) i just take photos of these to show the owners of the cars before i sell them! so i'm not actually sticking to volvos=)

i can show u guys a pic of a chevy chevelle SS -70 when its finished!

girlbear, yes it looks really blurry..but IRL its sharp and clear, must be some kinda reflection or something

That looks great. There is one little thing I see, and others have mentioned it. I just wanted to offer some help. The main problem w/ the rear ellipse is that the minor axis curves (long sides) are not tangent to the imaginary box (if one where drawn around the ellipse). They travel too long down the box guide lines. They should just touch and then begin to break away. I hope this makes sense. Check the http://www.drawthrough.com/tutorials/index.html

Practice practice practice, just draw tons of ellipses on paper. That guy's site really helped me out.

Anyway, just trying to help, not trying too nag anyone.

talking about ellipses i totaly agree go to that page and do some exercise.
There miust be a good reason wht it is in the book ( How to draw cars hotwheel way )
Give it a try and you will notice where are thouse small errors
ps how did asaenz notice that i can't see a thing lol. Must be beginer aye not yet in it
