Thumbs down High Idle!

Heres the deal - i got a 85 that had a 2.2 broke a rod so i put a 2.5 n/a in it runs great body is imaculate like the car never was driving .... got a 93 twin turbo stealth i drive when its nice an when i am in a racie mood- got a 90 shelby 2.5 t that is like gonna be garage this winter - dont wanna winter abuse it anymore - so i bought a 91 daytona with a new 183 ci 3.0 ltr v6 in it - the motor is spotless - i bought the car for 300 body is great shape nothing really wrong i got if from my buddy he has a impound - it was taken from the state park - an was in a flood up to the doors ... the engine runs great - real strong - it will smoke the tires through the first 3 gears no problem.... but it seems to be idling high bout 2-3,000 rpm - i check the throttle body - its got a holly throttle body on it - i am pretty sure that is aftermarket - but its the correct throttle body - i check the setting an took the cleaner hose off an the gate is closed when the car is idling - so it cant be tuned so the gate is closed more - so i am thinking it might be a ECU problem... i got another plus i got a diagnostic computer to check anything on the car an even change the idle through that - but i wanted to know if anyone has a clue what the deal is with the high idle before i go an reprogram the idle with the computer....

Please give your input all will help my wheels in my head work better i have had alot of shit on my mind an cant seem to think straight these days....

Thanks guys - happy motoring

If you look on any of the turbo models you will find that the stock throttle body is made by Holley. Nothing to be concerned about. However, it sounds like you might have a vacuum leak to me.
