My Name is Pete with a Modified GTO
Being a GTO fan from the old days I was pleased to see Pontiac bring back the mark. It did need a few special touches to satisfy me desire for more power, good looks and four seats. Here is how it looks now.

Re: My Name is Pete with a Modified GTO
There are a number of changes to the vehicle from the HRE wheels Rear 18x10.5" 9.5x10" Front, Michelin PS2 Rear 315/30 Front 285/35, Koni dampers, BMR springs 25% stiffer and one inch lower, strut tower brace, one piece driveshaft, stronger half shafts, stronger differential cover, NHRA Legal safety strap, sub frame connectors, aluminum engine skid plate, BAER brakes 14" front and 12" rear, Corsa exhaust, ATI/ProCharger supercharger 525 HP Crank 472 at the rear wheels, FAZE gauges (Oil Temperature, Fuel Pressure and Boost) and finally Recaro STLY seats with Red Suede inserts and black leather trim front and matching material rear.
Aside from that the car is completely stock

Re: My Name is Pete with a Modified GTO
Yes and no. Here is a link to the ProCharger website. Our first car is the silver one at the bottom. The red car pictured at the start of the thread will debut in the ProCharger Booth #24743 at the SEMA Show in Vegas in about 10 days.
The differences would be that the red car has carbon fiber valve covers and radiator valance with the runners painted to match the car as well as a BMR strut tower brace also painted matching red. Specter Werkes in Troy did the modifications, with the exception of the supercharger installed at ProCharger and shocks specially valved at KONI, based on my product scope (my company does that type of work to pay my bills). As soon as I get back from SEMA I'll post those pictures too. A GTO with over 525 HP is a serious piece of equipment for the street. |
