1986 Nova Hatchback problems

i got it for my 16th birthday my parents bought it brand new in '86 for like $6,000 or somethin and i got it for my 16th birthday didnt get my license until about a month after that its a Manual with 161,000 miles on it and i only got to drive it for about 4 days before the problem started

the problem is it stalls and when i start it, it gives itself gas and then none then some gas and then none on the very verge of stalling if i try to give it gas it stalls, sometimes if i pump the gas pedal i can get the rpms up or it stalls i've checked the all the vacuum lines and cant find anything im getting a new oxygen sensor cause it hasnt been replaced ever please help me i wanna drive sooo bad and i cant drive any other car if you have any quiestions please ask

well reaplcing the oxygen sensor did fix the problem thanks for all the help

hmm well it worked for a while then i did an oil change and repalced the head cover gasket and now its starting to do it again
