I am a moron....

And left my moonroof open over night. Yep...it rained, rather POURED all night long in biblibal portions. Looks like someone just turned on a hose in and let the water pour in.

I have sopped up all the water as best I could, then wet vacced it out. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I should do now.

All of the lights on the dash are now on. "Service Engine, Trac Off, Low Fuel, Check Battery, Security, & Break. I am assuming this is due to moisture. Will it eventually dry out and "fix" itself or is there something that I should be doing to try and prevent more problems?

It is a 2002 Olds Alero. Any suggestions you have will be a huge help.

Thanks!

Um...You could try and take some of the dash panels off that lead to anything electrical and let that air out a little. I've never had anything like that happen to me before so I really have no idea what to tell you.

Re: I am a moron....

Chances are your underlay will be soaked and you may need to pull the carpet to dry it as well but this makes it easier to dry the rest while the carpet hangs for a few days. Look in your interior fuse relays for moisture dry them out as well perhaps using forced air in the vents and around all the instrament clusters start from top to bottom. Id say a relay was wet and is causing the check engine light I sure hope its a simple dry it to fix it cus relays are a tad bit expensive.
