can someone explain to me soft brake pads and metal brake pads

i read a post earlier about brakes, organic, carbon, semi metalic
metalic pads.

i just want brake pads that are suitable with a regular
honda accord lx street driving.

i mean when i go to auto zone or kragen what
pads should i ask for?

well it is all about price....semi metallic are the norm to use....Organic are very expensive and are ceramic....I use semi-metallic on my 90 accord.....bought them from Auto Zone

If you go to a parts store ask for pads for you specific car...they can tell you what you need and what the difference is between the compounds that work for your car.
