I have a Sol

Sup guys just bought a 1997 Del Sol S yesterday...... and i was cleaning it up today and my bro mentioned to me that the wheel are all 4 lug is their a conversion out that converts them to 5 lug or can i just take the axles off of a 97 civic and replace em?? I know i shoulda used the search thing but maybe next time thanx in advance...

A few more things does anyone know if you can put power steering on the 97 sol-s or if it already had it

I did find some brackets on the intake manifold and the alternator that wasnt connected to any thing whats supposed to go there.....

Are their any aftermarket black out headlights out fer the sols?????

Congrats on the new car...but the 97 civic, and i think all civics are 4 lugs, maybe u mean an accord but i dont think the axles of an accord will fit on your car

Re: I have a Sol

Possibly an Integra "R" 5 lug conversion. Not sure about compatibility.
PS. del sol has a new home

they have their own forum now. Look below this one. I believe that Accords are 4 lug too. You'd have to do a type R swap to change to five lug, but whats the point.

Re: I have a Sol

I'll tell you how to run the wires to the back and its an excellent spot..You open your trunk and pull the carpet carboard thing up and all the way against the back wall that the rear window goes down in there are a bunch of like 1/2 inch holes or a couple cant remember how many but thats the holes that lead beneath the little black storage compartments behind your seats..you also have to take the storage compartment out to run them all through..I used to runn 2 15's direct comp x's behind my seats i took the storage thing out and they fit perfect and you dont have to put up with the trunk all rateling or anything then i had 4 10's back there when i sold my 15's i got alot of laughs out of that shit being in a small delsol no one could beleive it.Then i got sick of audio and ripped it all out. That is about the best spot i can tell you to run them tough good luck..

the front one will leave holes, the back one shouldn't. Or its the other way around, I don't remember. One does leave holes and one doesn't lets leave it at that. lol

lift the carpet to reveal the spare.. if u have 1? in the corners there are holes they lead under the back compartments.. all u gotta do is take a few screws to remove the compartments and ull find ur wires..

Re: I have a Sol

^^that said, be careful when messing with the wires under your compartments... your fuel pump is located there. Definitely don't want to nick/short any of those wires... esp. as a newbie. For an experienced person it's a headache. For a newbie it's a nightmare.

Re: I have a Sol

Oh yea reminds me when running trough there be sure to take all your wire and ziptie them to something or black tape then all up well thats what i did with mine..To finish off where to run them when your done you take them trough the compartments in the back and then run them under carpet beneath your center console all the way trough it up to your receiver and the power wire run it trough the little plug in the fire wall..On the plug make a little cut in it and run wire trough and up and you got your wiring all done..
