Talking Chrysler 300C 0 - TypeS 1

It was around the same spot where I raced the WRX a few weeks ago, just a little bit further on my way to work. I see this Chrysler 300c trying to pass everyone and somehow I manage to stay ahead of him just by staying in one lane. We play around a little bit and after a while we get a light together.

He's in the right lane, I'm in the middle lane and someone is in the left lane. His lane is about to merge into mine not too far after the light and I know he's gonna go at it because he keeps on easing in front of me every time I get even. At the same time, I'm trying to stay in front of him because right after the lane merge, I have to make a right turn into my work's parking lot. He's looking at the cross traffic and I see him keep on easing forward anticipating our light. It was an older guy in a suit.

When the light turns green, I didn't want to gun it and chirp the tires and look like an idiot just in case he doesn't go. I get up to about 10 mph, he chirps his tires and he's about a car in front so I know it's on. I gun it, hit about 7100 rpms, chirp my tires while shifting to 2nd at 40 and by 50 I'm two carlengths ahead of him and slow down (speed limit is 40) I make a right into my work's garage and he's zooms by like he owns a Mazda while I'm making my turn. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the HEMI because he would have done a lot better. It was probably just the 250hp/250lb/ft tq V6, but hey, mines a V6 and a win is a win. This time I didn't have to worry about police like I did with the WRX because everyone speeds here.

Nice kill, the worst 1/4 mile time I've seen for the Hemi version is 14.4@99. I have seen a few 13.9's. Where I'm at, the police are getting Hemi 300C's.

Yeah, those are some quick cars for their size. I tried racing one on the highway when I was stock but he slowly pulled ahead a few carlengths. Although, they're only rated at 5.9 0-60, it seems like they make up lots of time after they hit 3rd.

I've never run this car on a track, I've only had it for a few months. The people on the Acura message board with the same mods run low 14s. I believe the fastest guy ran a 14.0 @ 101.5 w stock tires - which suck really bad.

Get this, this one magazine comptech supercharged the 6 speed CL type S. People that custom-tune it, get 350 whp when intercooled. This magazine ran a 14.1 and blamed it on the tires CLS 6 speeds run low 14s stock and these guys ran a 14.1 with over 100 more whp

Yeah but when people say 300, a lot of people think of the 300m. 300c gives them a better idea, but I have no idea which model it was.
