Cool Hey guys

Hey, I was looking for some Probe group forums and my search landed me here....looks like a nice place.

I have an '89 Probe GL/LX 2.2L (no turbo )

This is my first car and me and my dad put some work into it. We rebuilt the transmission (4 speed auto) and put a shift kit in it. Got some new tires for it. Recently flushed radiator, put new spark plugs on, new cables, and fixed up the distributor, etc.

Anyways, one problem I have with it now is for the wipers to work, I have to wiggle the key around for it to start, and also the squirters for the washer fluid isnt working....I assmue this is all electrical problems, anyone have any ideas?

Here is a couple pictures after we fixed the transmission and brought it home.

If you have any advice or pictures to share, please feel free to do so.

Re: Hey guys

Hey,
Just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'm pretty new to this as well. As for your problems w/your wipers I actually have a similar problem. I can turn my wipers on easily but i have to hold the switch in a certain position for about a minute for them to turn off. You might want to replace the wiper motor or something. Looks good though...if you want contact me through AIM and i can send you a couple of pics of my probe.
