How can i improve my current stock tranny?

i have a 2000 civic ex auto and everyone from the froum said that its very costly to do a tanny swap cuse i wanted to do a motor swap with any b-series mother and i dont want to sell my car ive already put alot of work into it already plus its my frist car. so i was wondering is thier any way i can imporve on my tranny.

p.s how much would it cost to do the tranny swap no one really told me a price?

For my prelude, engine swap cost around $400 for labor and $500 more for h23a engine.

For you it might cost more becuse I got it done at a wholesale price.
