I have a 92 Ford Probe GT Turbo. The car has had major aftermarket installed. I had a Viper alarm and remote start installed about a year ago and now the car won't start. It worked good for about a year. All of a sudden it stopped. The car just clicks when I turn the ignition. I replaced the starter, selenoid, and pulled the remote start. No change, still won't start and just clicks. This baffles myself and all of my mechnic friends. I did find out the the guys who installed the remote start tapped into the starter wire but I replaced it.

Re: won't start
Sounds like you are not getting enough power to the selenoid. Take a volt meter and insure 12 volts. Make sure you have no corrosion at the terminals of the battery and make sure the cables are not corroded. I had to replace a ground cable once due to having corrosion inside the cable.

Re: won't start
I'd say the battery is bad. Do what was said above

The battery and terminals are good. I haven't had a chance to check to see if there is a good 12v running to the selenoid.
