Question Catalytic Converter 02 Sensor Wiring

ok, so i put on my headers and i had my exhaust on a paint can so i didnt have to disconnect the O2 sensor for the catalytic converter, and somehow the exhaust fell off the paint can and ripped out the pins from the plug...The problem is that there are four wires (four different colors) that run up into the car (OEM), and then there are three white and one black wire that come out of the O2 sensor...im guessing that since my catalytic converter is not OEM (its a cheap piece of shit universal one)
When they (the person who owned the car before me) put the aftermarket CAT on they also changed the O2 sensor, but the plug matched OEM and it wasnt a problem. Does anybody know anything about the wiring to the O2 sensor on a 2000 civic si. and yes i do have a helms manual. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Re: Catalytic Converter 02 Sensor Wiring

Does the O2 sensor have a company name on it or anything, like NTK? And are you sure it's 3 white wires and not 2 white and 1 gray?

no, its definitely 4 wires... no name on it, or part number.

No I ment 1 black, 2 white and 1 gray, not just 2 white and 1 gray; just wanted to see if maybe 1 of the wires was a light gray and you thought it just looked white.

Re: Catalytic Converter 02 Sensor Wiring

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinf...200&country=US Look at the last one. Seems like the tricky part is figuring out which one of the white wires goes to to the white wire and the org/blk wire; I guess probably follow this if it helps: http://www.hybridautomotive.com/tech/o2/#one
