parking lights stay on

i have a 99 Cavalier & the parking lights, including the one on the spoiler, remain on after the car is off. i have taken the two side bulbs out & am trying to get the one on the spoiler turned off before it drains the battery. any idea what the problem is?

I had the same problem, but I figured out my brake peddle kept getting stuck. So, once in awhile I have to pull the brake peddle towards me so that the lights will go off...common in my 91 cav.
