I am replacing the timing chain set on my 90' stanza and also I have to replace the timing chain oil jet. Problem I'm having is the jet was broke off and now I dont know which way to install the new one so the oil holes are spraying the correct direction. I checked with 2 local dealers and they even called the nissan tech support and they dont know either. Does anyone have a clue on which way this jet should be clocked when installed ? The jet is located directly above the lower timing gear that is on the crank about 2" up and it taps directly into the block.

I have the same problem, NOBODY KNOWS THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION. I asked the Nissan mechanic's they don't know. It's not in the Chiltion's manual. It's not even in the $75.00 Nissan service manual. I've search the Internet and the only thing I have even got close too the answer is your QUESTION. So if you find the answer please let me know!!!

Re: 90' stanza timing chain oil jet
have found that the dimple in the oil jet points to the top of the engine. I had to go to a local salvage yard and pull apart a scrap engine. needless to sat I'm not very impressed with Nissan!
