starting problems..not getting fuel?

Every once in a while, actually it's happening more often, when I attempt to start my jeep, it acts like the security system prevents it from starting...it starts briefly, then shuts down like it's not getting fuel. I bought it used and it did this when I went to look at it..the owner did not know what it was and said it happened to him. I bought it and immediately had a security system w/push button start, installed. It has not happened in a couple of years, now it's happening quite frequently. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes, sometimes it takes and hour before it will start and run.

HI, I SEE FROM YOUR OTHER POST YOURS IS A 93 CHECK ON THE DRIVERSIDE INNER FENDER THERE IS A BALLAST RESISTOR ON THE FENDER CHECK IT.PUT A JUMPER WIRE ON IT THERE IS A FUEL PUMP RELAY BESIDE THE BATTERY IF U EMAIL ME AT [email protected] i'll send you picture of both items dale
