I have a 90 rx7 gtu, I was parked at a friends and a genius friend of mine backed in to my car. I went to take it to get an estimate, it ran fine on the way ther, parked it and it has not started since. I am mechanically declined and have no clue.

Re: rx7

wow so confident arent we master telepathic mechanics! it could be the opposite too like a damaged fuel line or maybe electrical damage could have occured.

you know you get razed by soyo and you still don't give enough info like what part you got hit at and if you saw any damges(assuming you checked), also if you took it to get an estimate on wouldnt the people giving the estimate know what the damages are?
if not ...well... ill happily take the car from you.

Seeing as I have been around rotaries since 1987, yeah, I tend to get a bit confident. And a certain amount of telepathy is necessary to diagnose over the internet.

Re: rx7

I doubt there is much damage if it was backed into seeing as how most people don't go very fast in reverse... oh and the most common reason for a rotary to not start is a flooded engine so thats always the first thing to look for no matter what the situation
