86 special edition chuggs up hills help!!!!

I have a 86 prelude special edition chuggs up hill press gas all the way and kicks back and chuggs help please!!! 5 speed

1) How much load are you carrying.
2) Have you performed the proper maintenance on your vehicle yet.

I would be willing to bet it's #2 that ails you.

I don't carry any load just me a 6'1 male. I what maintenance do you mean I do the standard oil change and what not. I love my Lude!!

It kicks back you step one gas and chokes and you don't gain any speed I was passing people in 3rd and all of a sudden it seems to kick back and loss speed not gain any shifting to 4th does nothing.
