Hi, I have a 1993 JGC I6 with high mileage, in the past few weeks I have had a hard time starting her up. Following a major tune-up (plugs, wires, coil, and dist. cap.) the jeep has become hard to start. Starter sounds to be working fine and power seems to flow.
If I leave to key in the 'on' pos. but not turn to start, after about 1 to 2 mins the "check engine" light will turn on and then it will start-up. It seems to be taking longer in recent colder day to get the "check engine" light to turn on. Another symptom/prob. is while the engine is cold it will idle a little rough, esp. while maneuvering to get out of parking spots. Would love a little help on this if you have an idea. THANKS!!!! |
