I was installing a new power antenna on my 94 camry and according to the instructions I was to splice the 3 wires (black red green) into the existing wires, well...
I cut off the existing plug so that I could splice the wires but in the process i shorted something out that caused my radio clock, and car chimes to no longer work. I checked all the fuses (under the dash and under the hood) and found a 20A fuse (under the hood) that was blown that goes to the dome light (don't know if this is related of not). Thanks, for any help |

Re: Radio, Clock, chimes not working
That fuse does also control the radio and clock along with the light around the ignition key, the moonroof (if so equiped) and a few other things. Replace it and all should be fine. If it blows again, I would recheck my wiring.

Re: Radio, Clock, chimes not working
Couldn't have said it any better myself.
