does this chip module makes sense?

hey, saw this chip module on ebay. does it make sense? will it do anything at all (even if a bit). im a n00b and dont know much bout cars - only knows how to enjoy em so simple mods are for me and this thing costs a real easy $24.99. any clue if it does anything at all? thanks!

ps. i got a 97 2.0 base model

they are crap, only get chips through Superchips or Diablo, they are credible

yea i got one of those crappy chips prommising 20+ hp, i diddn't notice a thing, for a cheap and easy mod try a cold air intake, but make sure you don't make the mistake i did, and get a true cold air intake where it goes down to your fender. and if you really want to, heat wrap the tubes to keep the air as cold as possible

thanks guys. those cheapo ones do sound too good to be true which prolly means tehy arent true! checked out diablo and superchips - whoa 200 - 300 $$$$!

hmmm air intake - alrite gotta go into those more serious stuff then. guess there's no easy shortcut to performance do it right or not at all.

yeah chip wont do much for a stock car, but if you have cams, intake, header, exaust pully and chip you'll notice a bigger difference
