Question Availability of Performance parts for my '86 Caprice?

My 1986 Caprice 4D sedan is equipped with the 4.3 Liter (TBI) V6 engine and a 3-spd auto transmission. I would like to know what performance parts are available for my vehicle?

There's not a lot for that engine, especially with TBI, and anything you do is not going to yield you much performance. BUT if you want to play around and start doing performance mods for practice and don't expect too much for results, there are a couple things you can do. Of course you can start with the basics. Exhaust & mufflers. Free flowing air filter.

I built a dual snorkle intake for my caprice 305:

Check out Turbo City for TBI upgrades: http://www.turbocity.com/default.php?cPath=16_27

Check out Jegs & summit catalogs for 4.3 performance parts. I think there are some intake manifolds for that engine, BUT using them with a TBI system gets trickey. You could also upgrade the ignition.
