please,00 rodeo lot of noise in the exhaust after the engine off

Pinging type noises are common from the exhaust system as the metals cool. Usually comes from the heat shields. You gotta hear my neighbor's brand new chevy colorado. It sounds like marbles hitting a pie plate as it cools down!!

I have to agree with this... My old boss' 04 silverado does the same thing but it sounds like someones under there hammering on the pipes.

In my tech school my teacher told me that this noise came form dissimilar metals cooling at different rates, i didnt believe it but he assured me that this was the case.
