Re: abs not working
possible you pinched a wire or stretched a wire causing a internal open in the speed sensor wire. checked all your connections.. find a mutimeter and check the resistance of you wheel speed sensors, does you vehicle speedometer work??

You could possible have a pressure leak, or a low fluid level, kinked hose or anything otherwise that would give the control unit a low pressure reading. The ABS system utilizes a pressure switch which sends a pressure signal to the control unit. If the control unit senses this then a fail-safe relay disconnects the solenoid valve ground circuit to shut off the valve and illuminate the idiot light. I would of suspected a tone wheel but I believe (correct me if i am wrong) that the speedo is also operated off of the tone wheel, so if the speedo still works then it sounds like a pressure problem.
