wierd rattle
ok, so i was in my driveway, pulling in behind my dads car, and i put it in first, and just let off the clutch alittle, and gave alittle gas, and as i idled foward, i head this wierd rattle or clicking inside my engine bay, sounding like it was directly infront of my gauge cluster. no idea wut taht was...

my guess would have to be something in there vibrating.. a few things in my car vibrate

depends, is it a rattle, a ticking or a knocking? if its a ticking could be a lifter gone bad, if its a knocking could be piston! get help immedately, or if its a rattle from under car it could be solenid heat shield, i had problems wit my heat shield it gave me these rattles sounds until i replaced it.

3000GTs are known for the lifters ticking, so that wouldnt mean they have gone bad

He says it sounds like it's right behind the gauge cluster, couldent it be something broken/loose right back there? Or is that where the engine bay is lol?
