Good Evening,
I replaced my 2001 4-cyl Xterra with a 2004 6-cyl Xterra last weekend. Having a great time with it, but my headlights appear to be aimed quite high. Any idea on how to adjust this model's headlights? Thanx Dave |

How to lower headlights
There is a circular flat knob, which is visible from the top at the corners, when you open the hood, right above the lights.
Rotate that knob. It takes a loooong time to lower them (I guess it's a fine thread screw...). I can't remember which way is which, up or down. |

For some reason this is pretty common. Bad adjustment from the factory. You just bought it, so if you don't feel like messing with it have the dealer adjust it for free. Then watch them do it so you can do it yourself later.

Thanks
Thanks for the help guys. I did take it to the dealership, though it took two times to get it right.
