I have a short??? or wiring problem with windows/door locks

This is on my '98 Jetta GLX. If i try to opperate the windows from the drivers side door the Doors lock and the alarm arms. (WTF?) Also the drivers side front and rear window do not function. The passenger side windows work fine (as long as the fron passengers is being opperated from the passengers side controll.)

I really don't even know where to start.

Any help would be appreciated.

buy new or used wiring harness u probably melted the wires as i did itll cost you $150 dollars for a kit
