Question Drilling holes in stock air box

hey I was just wondering if I drilled some holes in the stock air box of my '95 it wouldn't mess anything up right. (I know it's a stupid question but just want to make sure I've done it to other stuff but never a car.) Thanks

Re: Drilling holes in stock air box

no it wouldn't mess anything up, but what's the point?. Why not just take the air box off and put a cone filter on the end of it and be done with it if you don't want an aftermarket intake.
