I have a 97 Dodge Neon Highline SOHC with 60,000 miles, 3-speed automatic. It has never had any transmission service. I suppose the tranny should be flushed? What is the recommended procedure? Is there a screen that needs to be cleaned? I think I want to use synthetic ATF, which kind should I use?
Thanks much.

Re: tranny flush
Take it to a dealer and have a trans service done. $125 and no screwing around.
