stroker kit

i rebuilding my engine and decided to add the crowers stroker kit to my plan. i have heard that the stroker kit adds too much wear to your engine and cutting it down a few years in life. i want to know how much is this true and how could i reduce the wear from the kit. i'm adding new valves, valve springs and retainers will that have any affect.

Well personally I never heard of that, as long as you are rebuilding the motor, it doesn't matter because you are replacing it with new parts. If you feel edgy about the stroker kit then just get it sleeved after you stroke it, then it doesn't matter. But again, I haven't heard anything about it killing the life of a motor, maybe a reliability issue, but seriously, how can anyone tell the life of a motor...??? :?
