Coolant leaking from passenger compartment on '04 Dakota
I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota with the 3.7 liter V6 and automatic transmission 2WD. Recently, I have noticed that when the truck first starts up in the morning, there appears to be red coolant at my feet on my plastic mat. Does this mean that my heater core is bad? I've had the truck since April and I just hit 6,000 miles on it. Is this kind of thing covered under my warranty? I'm not quite sure, my dad bought it for me before I left for school. If it's not under warranty, how much will I have to shell out? And will it cause my truck to overheat? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Of course its under warranty, take it to your nearest dealer before your engine starts to overheat.
