Headlights?

Can anyone tell me what year that the cloud cars or which car, went to the smooth headlights, the lights with no lines, they almost look like clear, formed lexan? I have 3 h/lights, and none of them match! I do have a pass. side smooth(no lines) light, which is what I am looking for, so I'd love to know what I need to look for. I would tend to think that the smoothies are 99-00? Thanks for any help!

Re: Headlights?

I have looked around, and see that 95-96 head lights are supposedly the same, and 97-00 are the same. But I have 3 different H/L's. What gives?
Will anybody with a 97,98, or 99(Thanks ...81 for the oo Cis report!) look at their head lights and PLEASE post if they are clear, or have lines in them? Also, if you are kind enough to do this, tell us what kind of Cloud that they are on Str/Cir/Brz. Thanks 2 Much!-'bird
I am just tired of wasting my $$ on the wrong light, ya know where I'm comin from? I got 3,(None match!) and can really only use 1! Now isn't that a Blip!
Again, Thanks-'bird

Re: Headlights?

Thanks Bomni, Can I ask you to look 1 more time really close? Does the light have what looks like a capital H followed by 3-4 lines on the inner end of the light, and does it have like, 9 to 10 lines between the clear and the amber end? You have already helped me out, but this will put you over the top, in my book!
Please?/Thanks!

Re: Headlights?

Dang, you are observant. I never noticed those lines before. So Yes, there is a sort of "H" on the inner side of the housing with 3 lines next to it, then on the other side of the housing between the clear and amber tint there are nine or so lines. I hope that helps!!!
