Does anybody know what are some of the best brake pads that you can put on a Lumina? I'm looking to replace the front pads on my car.
I have been hearing my brakes starting to squeak when I apply the brakes. Some of the things I'm looking for in my next brake pads are: Low dusting (as little as possible)-cleaning the brake dust off those rims is no joke No noise Short shopping distance- In Atlanta, a short shopping distance is a requirement. People out here can't drive. I think that's all I'm looking for. What brake pads do you all recommend? |

Re: Brake Pads
get a good grade of ceramics, no dust, no noise, and good stopping power. The only drawback is they don't last quite as long as Premium Semi-metallics.

Re: Brake Pads
Hah, no, we can't drive out here
![]() I got myself a set of prostop ceramics, and I agree with Rich, not much of the dust or noise. I can stop much better with them, rain or shine. Dunno if they're THE best, but they're pretty good. I've had mine for six months and they still work like new (I'm sure if I had my cutlass still I'd be on the second set of pads soon). The local Advance should carry them for luminas. |
