'95 Blazer mirror & wiper problems

I have just bought a '95 Blazer at a Customs Auction. Neither the front wipers or the power mirrors work. Is this problem related and/or how do I fix?

Check for blown fuses in the fuse panel in the driver's side end of the dash.

Look for all burnt fuses.

Thanks, the fuses were actually the first place I looked. Everything looked fine, but I replaced just in case. (Although I didn;t see a specific fuse for the mirrors. Is it part of an acc. cluster or something?) Still nothing. Any ideas what my next diagnostic check should be?

Did you check the fuse map on the panel door?

Re: '95 Blazer mirror & wiper problems

Yeah, but nothing that specifically indicated mirrors. As a matter of conservatism, I pulled all of the fuses to visually inspect.

Sidebar question: Is there an easy way to replace the middle sparkplug(s)? On the right side the steering linkage seems to be in the way. On the left side the fit seems to be too tight for me to get my socket in. Any advise is appreciated.

Re: '95 Blazer mirror & wiper problems

Middle sparkplug on the passenger side is easy to get to through the wheel well.

Driver's side is a pain in the ass.

Best way they say is to like up the boot at the bottom and diconnect the steering shaft bolt and push the steering shaft out of the way to get at it.

Other than that, the best way to again get several long extensions and elbows and go through the wheel well again.

It takes some time, but it will be worth it.

BTW, use antiseize on the plug threads for easier extraction next time.
