I am looking for some information on how to correctly replace the fuel filter on a 96' Chevy Blazer. I have located the fuel filter, and noticed that it is threaded. How do you replace the fuel filter, and I believe de-pressurize the system so gas doesn't go flying around?
Any assistance would be appreciated... Thanks, Sam |

Re: Replacing Fuel Filter on 96' LS
well i have a 96 ls and it is pretty hard to not get gas on you! But just a normal open end box wrench will work great!

Re: Replacing Fuel Filter on 96' LS
Be very very careful and cover the wrench with a rag when you are relieving pressure.
There should be a fuel system schrader valve at the back of the engine where you can relieve the pressure also. |
