Angry More questions!!!

In the right rear suspention there is a wicked rattle when I roll over bumps in the road and a shake in the right front suspention when im going 60-70. The back shocks have been replaced (along with lower ball joints) and the fronts are on there way. I talked with someone who said the right rear rattle is a problem with MR2's and I had the front tires balanced already! Does anyone have/had this problem with there 91 turbo mr2???

Re: More questions!!!

"Rattling' is not normal.

Do you have aftermarket rims? ... are you using the hub centrics?

Re: More questions!!!

that's most commonly caused by a worn spherical bearing in the hub carrier. to fix it, the axle carrier needs to be replaced, as no one sells them in the right size and toyota only sells it pressed into a new hub. expect to pay $300-400 for a new one. maybe you can find used...
