Question Camarov6 vs mustangv6

I have a 2000 v6 camaro. My friend has a 98 mustang v6. I let my friend drive my car the other day and he kept saying his is more powerful than mine. He told me my rmps go up to fast... Ive always heard that camaros are faster than mustangs. Plus his is older and i checked the 0-60 times for both cars and the mustangs is over 10 seconds. The camaro is just a little over 7. Is this true that a v6 mustang is faster than a v6 camaro or is my friend just a jelouse bast-rd.? I know the camaro weighs about 300 pounds more but wouldnt it make up for it in 50 more horsepower than the mustang.

In the terms you used... jealous bastard (theyre both stock I'm assuming)
And also point out that not just you RPMs but your MPH climbs fast...

First off, it does not take 10 seconds for a V6 Mustang to go from 0-60.

A stock 2000 V6 Camaro has 200 HP and weighs around 3300 pounds.
A stock 1998 V6 Mustang has 150 HP and weighs around 3300 pounds also.

So in conclusion, your Camaro should rape his Mustang.

i have a v6 mustang, 10sec 0-60, hell no. im not sure what it is, but not 10. maybe 6-7 the most. the v6 mustangs are kinda of dogs. you can get them fast, but your not beating a v8. and yes the v6 camaro is faster. i think the camaro may have bigger gears.

the 2000 V-6 Camaro has 200HP!? That seems quite a bit high...I know it's higher than the Mustards, but 200 just seems a bit high, is this right?
