1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3L - Multiple misfire
A similar thread was created yesterday, but with the wrong info. This is my father's car and I'm typing for him.
1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3L had a bad o2 downstream sensor, so I replaced it. After replacing the o2 sensor it threw a multiple misfire code. The car stumbles a bit when started but once it warms up, it is fine. I replaced the original 78k miles platinum plugs with copper ones (would've got plat's but they only had copper in stock). Still misfiring. What could cause this? It goes away once the car is warmed up. |

Check distributor cap and rotor for carbon buildup.

no cap or rotor on a 3.3. Run the engine and spray the plug wires with a water bottle. look for arching. I would recommend replacing the wires first and see what happens.
