AutoZone used to give you a printout of all the codes for your model. Don't know if they still do. AllData has the specific service info for all makes, and AutoZone owns AllData, so they can do that. I have been able to find factory manuals at the library too.

I just bought a book at Oreilys that has all the codes in it, Autozone didn't carry it, it has all models listed in alphabetic order for $15.95
