My speedo seems to have stop working I have ckeced the cable connections on the back of the gauge and to the tranny .. Everything looks like a good connection .. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP...

Could be a bad cluster? Check the cable on the tranny again. Make sure its in all the way.

cable is in tranny as far as it can go.. how would i go about testing the cluster??? could i do it with some type of voltage tester or somthing???

You mentioned that the speedo cable runs into the gauge cluster,
Step 1, remove the cable from the gauge cluster, and run it to where you can see the end while driving. Drive around the block. Does the wire inside the cable spin around, and spin faster as you increase your speed? If yes, it is in the gauge cluster, if not, let us know. |
