2001 Yukon XL Erratic Idle
At idle, my Yukon can sometimes idle erratically. I had the fuel injectors cleaned, new spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter - all to no avail. Sometimes it just idles great and others it is erratic. The erratic idle also can cuase the AC to blow warm. Any thoughts?

The throttle plate is sticking. With the key off push open the throttle plate and clean it out with carb cleaner and a rag to wipe off the carbon buildup. This is usually caused by using cheaper gas. Try to run a tank of the new shell premium, it has a deturgent in it to clean the injectors and the intake valves. I noticed a difference in mine after I cleaned the thottle plate and running the premium gas.

A good cleaning of the throttle body should take care of your problem.
There are a couple GM TSBs regarding this concern that include a calibration update for the PCM. As far as running premium fuel in your truck..don't waste the money. Your truck is designed to run on 87 octane..using a higher octane fuel can cause some cold start driveability issues
