Champ Car-Laguna Seca roadtrip & racing photos

Took a trip up to Monteray this weekend to check out the Champ Car series at Laguna Seca. Left on Saturday night about 8PM, drove a good 4.5 hours, went to bed at about 6AM at the hotel and woke up at 9 in the morning. Needless to say I was tired but it was well worth it. Here are some shots from the weeked:

First roadtrip in the new Dakota. Dakota=smooth and comfy on long roadtrips, no complaints. Oh yeah, that's my roommate on the right:

Yeah, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. We didn't even prepare much. Just kind of decided to go, and then left. Were you there?

Not at this event. I was at there for SuperBikes though.

at our Champ car race, they brought out the RWD-converted Ford Focus with the 500hp 5.0 Mustang engine in it.

looking out on the track, you'd see a little Focus drive by, and then "GROOOOWWWL!" left you wondering just what the hell was going on.

Yeah, that's my truck in the first picture. I posted a bunch of pictures of it when I first bought it. Most of them are still in my Gallery.
