97 Wont start, No fire to ign.

Help , I purchased this vehicle from a salvage pool. It had been hit in front, not hard, however it appears that it hit a curb or something similar as it broke the front axle perch on the left side (2 wheel drive). The real problem is that it cranks but wont start. It has no spark at the plugs. I put a scanner on it , and got no codes. I replaced the crank position sensor and it didnt change anything. I unhooked the fuel line under the vehicle and have fuel pressure. I have sprayed B12 in the intake and does nothing. Any help would be much appreciated

First thing to check is the automatic shutdown relay and the fuse used to protect that circuit.

They should both be in the power distribution center.

After that, you are into the sensors and PCM.

From what i've been told that will let it start but then it will die.
I would like to get to that point at this time.

GOT A 1993 AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM...TESTED THE RESISTANCE IN THE IGNITION COIL'S PRIMARY CIRCUIT, AND IT WAS OUT OF SPECS. REPLACED THE IGNITION COIL AND ALL WAS WELL.

You said it has no spark at the plugs. Does it have spark directly at the coil? Does it have injector pulse? You can check injector pulse with a noid light or a test light. If you have no noid light use a test light hooked to the negative batt cable. Disconnect a harness cconnector at the injector and find out which one lights the test light. Hook the test light to the + battery terminal and probe the other terminal on the injector harness connector. Have someone crank the engine. If it doesn't blink the PCM is not receiveing a signal to trigger the injectors.

I bought a coil yesterday on a long shot, Sure enough it fired right off with the new coil.
