97 Grand Caravan's alarm system blocking starter

97 Grand Caravan's alarm system blocking starter with both remotes suddenly unuseable.

Let me tell you the story.

I stopped to get gas at a Shell Station. I put gas in and went in my van and tried to start it and nothing happened. The lights went on in the instrument panel and nothing happened. Usually when that happenes I press the unlock button on the remote and it allows the starter to engage. The remote even wont lock or unlock the Van.

Not, this is factory installed alarm system.

Still nothing.. Can someone help me?

See if the owner's manual lists a fuse for the remote starter system. It sounds like a fuse is blown because both of your remotes don't work.

When was the last time you changed the batteries in the remotes? What brand are they?
