New truck tires?

I am looking for a set of new tires for my 2001 F-150. 265/70/17. However winter is winding its way in and I do live in Wisconsin. Whats a good tire that will handle both off-road trails and snow/ice pretty well with decent tread life. So far my number one choice are the BFG AT's. Any other opinions or experiences?

Re: New truck tires?

the at's are a great choice. had em on my 97 f150 and they did very well in michigan winters. softer sidewalls handle the ice and tough to find a better looking tire. one drawback, because of the block pattern (no solid ribs in tread pattern), they usually don't provide high miles and they cost some pretty serious $
