The Impala SS's stopped in 96 along with the caprice. They came out in 94, 260hp LT1 and was essentially a civilian 9C1 caprice. Grill was diffent, all blacked out trim, small rear spoiler, grey leather interior, 17 inch rims, dual exhaust. 94's only came in black and there were 6,303 made. 95's were the same except the side mirrors were moved from the doors to the pillers and dark cherry and green/grey metallic colors were added, 96 was the last year and the best. Its had a floor mounted console shifter and analog guages.
