I need help
Several questions I have several questions. 1. On my Jeep Grand Cherokee, Orvis Edition 1995, on the sun roof or I think. Recently when i washed my jeep, water leaked around the doors, windshield, and even in the console on the top. The water wasn't coming from around the door itself, it was coming from around the trim on the inside of the jeep. This also holds true on the windshield. It is on the inside part of the trim, not around the door itself or windshield itself. On the sunroof, I noticed there's like 2 drain wholes on each side in the corners. I am thinking these might be blocked, even possibly with ants since I have had a sudden break out of ants. The Jeep is clean and last Sunday when I opened the door, there was a bunch of them like a nest of them, complete with the little white egg thingies. How can I clean them out? or at least the drain wholes. I used an air hose on them, but don't think it is clean yet. I used a wire to do as far as it would, one side seem to have a little crude in it. what is the best say to clean and flush them out without soaking my jeep interior. 2. My back window wiper. I can't get it to come on, but I think there maybe a problem with the switch. The wiper button won't go all the way over. Just barely moves over. Is it possible it isn't the right one for it? or maybe not set up right? How do I need to go to replace it or check it? 3. Power mirror. It doesn't seem to work either. How can i tell if it is the motor or maybe a wire somewhere? Any ideas? 4. Of course I have the standard stereo problem I have read so much about on here. No display on it. Will a new Jeep Cherokee stereo work? I have saw several on Ebay (yes I just love that site) but most are newer model systems. I don't want to have to alter anything to get it in there, but would like one that worked RIGHT. 5. How do I check codes? I have the rear lamp failure when I first start. 3 beeps, 3 beeps. Sometimes I have a constant beep after that. I don't know if that is just a flop or if it means something is wrong. 6. ABS light stays on most of the time. Sometimes at first it is off, then comes on. but always comes on at some time while I am in it driving. What is wrong with the abs. I seem to have brakes. I always stop when I press them. Fluid is full. What is wrong with them and how can I fix it so light stays off like it is suppose to. Glenda |

Re: I need help
wow u do have alot of problems, ok I will start with the Rear wiper, I think the Motor might be bad, I'm not sure tho since u said ur Switch doesn't move all the way over, my rear wiper would only run for like 3 turns then it would slow down then just quit, now it doesn't nove at all. so i am thninkg it's the motor. next the REAR LAMP FAILURE, I had same problem look'd at all the bulb didn't c any burnt out, so I had a friend hold the brake pedal and thats when I noticed the High mount Stop Light was burnt out, well changed the bulb and prob was gone, also check the Bulbs on the License Plate.
